John Lees is a leading Career Transition Coach and Career Strategist.

John is a graduate of the Universities of Cambridge and London. Having trained recruitment specialists for over 15 years, he gradually became increasingly interested in the needs of people on the other side of the desk: career changers. John's forte is helping people make difficult career decisions, either difficult because they don't know what to do next, or difficult because there are barriers in the way of their success.

Formerly Chief Executive of the Institute of Employment Consultants (now the Recruitment & Employment Confederation, REC), John now spends a great deal of his time in outplacement and careers coaching and he runs his own careers consultancy based in Cheshire; John Lees Associates (www.johnleescareers.com). John is ordained by the Church of England and works as a Priest within the Diocese of Chester. He has a particular interest in vocations and the spiritual dimension of work.
