McGraw-Hill User Group Partnership supports the service that User Groups provide to the technical community. We value our relationship with community-based groups and welcome the opportunity to form partnerships with User Groups to disseminate the latest technological information available in Osborne and CMP publications.
McGraw-Hill encourages participation by technical User Groups that meet regularly, discuss, teach, and troubleshoot technical topics, write book reviews, and publish print and/or online newsletters.
McGraw-Hill can provide User Groups with:
Review copies of books for newsletter reviews
Promotional items and support for User Group events
Books for User Group competitions
A discount on bulk purchases
Monthly e-mail newsletter
Quarterly catalogues
Information and sample chapters for author features
All we ask in return is that:
Reviews of Osborne McGraw-Hill and CMP books are published in your newsletter and on your website
You notify us of published reviews or user reviews that we can use for publicity purposes and editorial reviews
You provide a link to from your User Group Web site
If you are the director or leader of a not-for-profit, volunteer-based User Group, and are interested in having your User Group become a McGraw-Hill partner, please register below. User Groups registering for the McGraw-Hill User Group Partnership are required to have a membership of 10 or more people and a regularly published newsletter or website. To avoid duplicate registrations, we ask that group officials, not members, register.
Thank you!
