ALEKS

Calling all teachers of mathematics and statistics ...

Are mathematics and/or statistics and integral part of the degree course?
Do some of your students struggle with mathematics and statistics?
Would you be interested in a solution that builds student knowledge and confidence through individual instruction at their own pace, in their own time?
  Have you looked at ALEKS?

Maybe ALEKS is what you've been looking for to support your teaching and assist your students!

If you would like to know more, please visit the website www.aleks.com or contact Warren Eels warren.eels@mheducation.com

What can you expect?

ALEKS stands for Assessment and Learning in Knowledge Spaces. It is an online tutorial program available via the web for teaching and learning mathematics and statistics. Using artificial intelligence, ALEKS determines precisely what a student knows and what he or she is ready to learn within a given subject area.

Because ALEKS is web-based and operates through individual student log-ins, it is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from virtually any computer with internet access - at home, school, and the library. It is a learning assistant that provides targeted, individualized instruction.
